A torsion spring coiler is machine used to produce torsion springs from metalic wire. There are both automatic and semiautomatic machines. Tension spring, collar spring or helical torsion spring can be produced by torsion spring coiling machines.

The major units of a torsion spring coiler include the straightening unit, the feeding unit and the tooling set for wire forming and cutting. In addition to its basic mechanisms, a torsion spring coiler may also have various attachments and monitoring and adjustment devices.

Torsion spring coilers are used mainly in series and mass production.
